I love the blue bucket and I dug up a patch of grass/moss from our garden for an art activity after being outdoors.
The children did a superb job!!
There were more outdoor activities today and it was a totally superb week of Health and Wellbeing activities. Glad to say that the lead Teacher who organised it all, and the lead Classroom Assistant who led all the healthy baking, were both given thank you gifts by colleagues!!!
Three good things
1. Lovely variety of activities with different groups of children.
2. Four carriages on the train from Inverurie to Inverness! I've been so grumpy on recent journeys as two carriages is very inadequate for all the travellers at that point in the week!!! Actually I had tweeted about it this morning and commented on the fact that current health issues did not encourage crowds in small spaces.....I don't really think that just my tweet did the trick but the lovely conductor who I was chatting to just as we reached our destination had seen my tweet...πππ
3. Time to dash to M&S in Inverness between trains so chicken and salad went down well on arrival!!

Thank you for your lovely comments. The young children children are very fortunate and have dedicated 'fresh air Friday ' time in the afternoon every week. It was fascinating to see them getting stuck in with no fear of getting hands dirty!!
A nice shot of these lovely snowdrops. Wonderful to hear about the outdoor activities for the children. I'm convinced that there are great benifits for children involved in such activities.
