Bowed but not broken

I had to stop and take this photo of the daffodils which were dancing a couple of days ago. Not today....yesterday's bitter north wind and snow was followed by more of the same and they looked rather poorly. However I have seen how daffodils can recover in our garden in earlier years so I'm not giving up on them yet!!!
Three good things
1. Major decluttering here today.....intense dust busting, ruthlessly allocating items to charity shops, to recycling or dump! All very therapeutic!
2. Allan had a visit to the barber!! Really needs his hat on such a bitter day.
3. Clear surfaces and tidy storage is very satisfying ☺

Sad to see this; I do hope they'll recover.
Bitter cold here too...

Oh my! We had snow flurries and frost but nothing that settled. The flowers will be back, resilient things, Spring blooms.

Oh, yes, ours are like this in the back garden. I hope they bounce back!

Those poor flowers; however, they do make for a good photo.

Love this ...is it spring or winter...sums up perfectly how unclear everything in life seems right now.

Who said April isn't whimsical? 😉

Oh my, the poor daffodils. Go away winter.

So frustrating to see the snow back after a brief burst of spring. We had a short blizzard in York yesterday as well.

Thank you for your lovely comments!
I haven't been along that way today but the daffodils in our garden are trying hard to stand up taller!

I thought the snow was behind us for this year but it has been just the same with us in Fife.
