A beautiful afternoon walk at Pitmedden, round the woodland area beyond the walled garden which is closed at this time of year.
We hadn't been there since storm Arwen and it was quite awesome to see the large trees blown over roots and all. Definitely the most significant storm damage in living memory. It will be a challenge to 'restore' the area.
Three good things
1. Some snacks delivered to a friend who's feeling poorly.
2. Coffee and cake after our walk.
3. Resources gathering for school tomorrow.
