Time to go home......but no complaints as two weeks extended to three and we all got to know Connor so much better. He seemed to grow in all sorts of ways and chatted and told stories so happily. And there were lots of aeroplanes and helicopters going over which he just loved.
Time to sort the washing etc and hope we don't find any treasures left behind in corners!!
Three good things
1. Sunshine arrived as the morning passed and we had a nice walk to the paper shop and visited some friends.
2. David and Jenn had time to chill after all the driving around Scotland with her parents
3. Slight delay in flight take off seems to have been made up......hope their connection in Amsterdam goes ok!
Such a heart warming photo Sallie. Connor is getting old enough to remember stuff he did with you last time.......you are building a lovely grandparent relationship.

Thanks for your lovely comments! Just keep smiling when I think about the fun! Found one solitary sock on the airer in the utility room underneath a towel! Think I may frame it!!!!
What a sweet shot of a lovely moment. Enjoyed your photos of Connor. Two of our granddaughters are staying with us for a long weekend. They are 7 and 5.
