November light

Another glorious day, so still and after arriving in the dark last night it was great to see how many leaves are still on the beech tree. Loved the way the light was filtering through onto the garden and the rich copper colour of the beech.
Three good things
1. A great sleep
2. Morning run, breakfast, fire set, gardening and shower.....all before Dad got up!!! Hee hee!!!!
3. Saturday newspapers with lots of puzzles to keep everyone amused! Very quiet around here!!

Thank you all for your lovely comments. Beech hedges certainly keep their leaves till the new green ones appear but the trees just hang on to theirs for a bit longer. Whatever this one is rather special.
And we all need lazy Saturdays sometimes Peggy! 😀
