Had a lovely weekend with Mum and Dad while Allan was helping a friend in Orkney. Last year Mum was saying there were no tulips in the garden and she didn't know what could have happened to them.
Well I planted lots of bulbs in the autumn and her earlier ones seem to like the company. .....lots of lovely colour when she opens the front door.
Three good things
1. A good drive north after school
2. Nice coffee with Mum and her friend before Tesco shop
3. David on Skype so he spoke to Granny and Grandpa too.....it was just on my phone and took some getting their head round!!!!

Thank you - Dad is not supposed to be doing gardening Pat but he was turning a bit on Saturday with his fork! It's a really lightweight one -I'd done a bit earlier and wished our tools were as light!
I don't think it will do harm if he just does a little now and then! Most of the plot is being grassed over shortly.......then we'll all be relieved!
