Had a good journey north this morning and glad to ģet my connection as only 5 minutes between trains at Inverness..
This lovely little display at Beauly station made me smile. Some of the little stations have very short platforms and only one door of the train is used for travellers departing /boarding. Lots of care keeping the place looking good.
Three good things
1. Good to find Mum and Dad doing fine. They've had lots of visitors this week.
2. A lovely neighbour who's going to fit new smoke alarms. Not a peep when the Yorkshire Puddings were burning last Sunday!!! And he's going to fit new batteries on a date they decide on each year....birthday /anniversary or something like that. Good idea. ....he's a local fireman and paramedic so excellent person to know when advice needed.
3. My potatoes for tea!! Well I did plant them in Dad's garden and he had left them for me to check out. Another few weeks and the tiny ones will get a chance to grow.
