No idea what the weird fuzzy line cutting through my pretty infill pattern is - it's definitely not part of the GCode - but this print represents hours of fighting my way through understanding FreeCAD. I could have made a two dimensional version of this in Photoshop in five minutes. Modeling it in three dimensions took five hours.
(To be fair, at least two of those hours were spent incrementally changing the socket end and printing short test pieces. I needed it to be *just* big enough to allow for easy snapping together but not so big that they'd fall apart.)
When they're done printing, I will have a massively over-engineered solution to my thick musical scores catching on the slightly raised lip of my piano music holder when I turn pages.
