Cape Town Rain by seacreature

Cape Town Rain

It was raining in Cape Town today. We had a last minute trip into town to sign lease documents for the 10th floor apartment we have in Milnerton. This is part of the 180 degree view from the window. Normally you can see Table Mountain to the left, but today was dark and raining (very unusual for summer time), so we could see almost nothing. So glad we have a new tenant. Was very worrying to have it standing empty since the beginning of this month.
Looks very melodramatic! Glad about your tenant - one less worry right now.

@cottiac @777margo Thank you. Most of the time it is a lovely view with the usual sunny blue skies and bright African colours! I wouldn't normally have taken a photo in that weather except that I don't often get to see the view from my apartment any longer.

I didn't use to like shooting in the rain but it can really bring the colours out and makes some nice shots.

Yes I sure hope it is a good tenant. It is an amazing view. I love this apartment. Don would like to sell and invest the money to live off the interest, but I am reluctant to sell. Maybe he is right though!? Will need to look at it thoroughly this year.

Lovely composition in this photo. The palms create great line. Fabulous view to see from your home - lucky tenant.
