Day 2 of our road trip from the N1 through Prince Albert and Oudtshoorn to George. This is MeiringsPoort, a natural gorge hewn by the Groot River through the Swartberg Mountain Range. When doing this route I can never decide if I prefer crossing this mountain range by going over the top of the Swartberg Pass, or through MeiringsPoort. They are both amazing in their own way.
@narayani The dry side of the mountain range so very blue skies. Also looks so blue due to the angle - if you look at the shadows of the railing along the path, the sun is slightly behind me and to the side, so the colours look deeper. I've discovered when I shoot towards the sun, everything looks a bit more washed out.
