Wedding Cat

My bride will be walking down that jetty to the catamaran at the very end (far right of the photo). I will need to be waiting on the boat before she gets there to shoot her walking down the "aisle" and to try and get the shot of her groom as he watches her, but it went through my mind to ask my photo buddy to get a shot of her across the water for the reflections. But there are just too many other reflections of the apartment buildings competing for attention here anyway (my self catering holiday apartment is in the building directly ahead)
more good scouting - but it does sound as though you might need to be in two places at once

It’s going to be quite an experience Desi! How many people are going to be on the boat?!

All the best for good weather for the day

@anniesue LOL. Yes. So I will have to choose my priorities. I can see why most professional wedding photographers have a 2nd shooter.

@narayani It is a very small wedding party - the boat can only legally take 14 passengers (excluding the skipper and his assistant), and the preacher and myself make up 2 of the 14 passengers she is allowed.

@777margo Thanks Margo. Yes, if it is pouring with rain then perhaps all my planning and scouting will come to nought. But it is still all good experience anyway!

can you take some shots that you could edit her into after? they'd know of course - but it could be done with humour

What a beautiful site for a wedding!

@bf2016 Yes, it is going to be lovely, I'm sure. They are an older couple, for both it is their 2nd marriage, and both have adult children from previous marriage, so they don't want the big affair now. But they do want it to be special.
