Need to get a natural window light portrait of a human sometime between Saturday 9th and Sunday 17th November for a challenge so I've started experimenting with some selfies seeing as I am alone in the house now. Got a long way to go before I have something I feel I can submit, but it is rather fun, and interesting to be observing the play of light and shadow as I move my position. Would be so much easier with a model to observe ....

I wonder if you have thought about making more of your hands...to be more expressive...as your face/profile doesn't show your nose or mouth which could also up the dynamic impact of the whole. Easy for me to say this... Rear view portrait of your back...leads and hints at other features we can't see.
@s4sayer Thank you for that. Good idea trying to do something with my hands ... I definitely like this concept more than a headshot. It seems more creative and artistic somehow

I think this shot has potential...
