So this corner of the lounge is where I have settled on for my "selfie studio" Just had to move the furniture a bit to fit a tripod in. And I hit upon the brilliant idea of balancing Harriet on top of a spare old tripod which is balanced on top of a chair to get enough height as the tripod alone can't extend high enough. This gives me something to try and get my composure sort of (not always easy to recognize how to put my head) and focus
@anniesue Yes it certainly is a problem having to move Harriet every time I want to change my position slightly, but I haven't yet figured anything better to try and get the focus on my eyes. Yesterday I was using a tall reading lamp with a flexible head but trying to judge where I should put my face to get the eye where I had focused was more miss than hit. Perhaps should go searching on YouTube for the secrets of people who do lots of selfies? Might be quicker to just phone around and find a friend who's not shy to have their photo taken!
