The remains of just another derelict and abandoned jetty. Sometimes my walk along the river makes me almost fanciful and I start wondering if this old jetty looks at his newer neighbours with sadness at his own neglected state. If he has stories to tell of a happier time with loads fishing boats offloading their catch, or whether he used to have a yacht tie up there, and happy, laughing families tripping up and down?
