Protea

I saw proteas advertised near me on Facebook Marketplace so decided to treat myself to some for no particular reason. The picture with the ad was misleading in that it showed King Proteas, but having driven to a poor and dodgy part of town to buy these I decided to take them anyway

Lovely close up. Are these just the cut flowers or a bush? They have become very popular to grow here with our similar climate.

@narayani These are cut flowers. I don't have my own bush, although I am thinking I should try and get one. I recently bought a pincushion protea bush which I thought might be budding, but doesn't appear so as nothing more has developed.
