@ludwigsdiana We have almost beach sand for soil here. Needs loads of compost etc. to get anything to grow in it. But this particular one is growing in a large pot with potting soil. I did put plenty of stones in the bottom for good drainage, and I notice it wants quite a lot of water - the pot seems to let it dry out more quickly than the trees in the soil as I see the leaves starting to curl
