It has long fleshy leaves and the sap when one breaks a leaf is known to be excellent for burns and stings as well as other sores and cuts, so it is not only pretty, but a very useful plant to have growing in a pot if you don't have garden space. These plants are actually in a window box type of planter and doing very well, so they don't need much space nor depth of soil
