Today was a day that pushed my ability to find time for 365.
I have spent all day sorting car problems, stuck in traffic, having blood tests, in meetings, on SKYPE with customers, collecting visitors from the station 30 miles away in rush hour, collecting cars 30 miles in the other direction, also during rush hour, returning hire cars.......
So, today it is my turn for a craptastic photo. I found 2 minutes to walk to the village and shot this board on the wall of the local butchers.
My wife is from Hathern, and my Microbrewery business is also in Hathern. Hathern boasts 3 very important B's. A Bakery, a Brewery and a Brass Band.
Spencers Bakery make the most fantastic bread rolls, or Cobs as they are known in the East Midlands. I cannot wait until Lent is over and I can sample their wares once more!!
I like your term "craptastic"! I will have to borrow it from you because I've had my fair share of those types of pics. HA! But I have to tell you, I don't consider this one in that group at all. I've always thought chalkboard menus are nostalgic and cool and on an angle against the brick it pushes it to the supercool level! I like it!
Good thinking on your shot, sometimes inspiration just strikes. Agree with all that Terry said. Waiting to see the other two b, especially the brass band. Could you arrange sound?
Haha, I don't think that shot qualifies for craptastic. Try again! (No, don't. ;D ) I like the perspective and textures. And how hungry reading that board has made me. 8)
I love your POV and the colors and the focus...
ITS A FAV
Nice shot and angle
