Our Olympic adventure ~ 5

Korean Ki Bo Bae holds her Gold medal aloft after winning the individual women's archery event at Lord's Cricket Ground on thursday.

Silver and Bronze went to Mexico.

This was a huge highlight for me of our Olympic Adventure. To see an Olympic title won and the medals presented was something that I have never dreamed that I would see.The match was settled by a nearest the bull/10 sudden death arrow.

I confess that I shed a tear at this experience, and have done so many more times this week.

Lord's is the world's home of cricket, home of the MCC, home of the England Cricket Team. To be able to walk on the hallowed turf, to reach down and touch it, to see another sport at Lord's was surreal, inspiring, nerve tingling, just incredible.
These Olympic shots are incredible Sean! What an awesome experience :)

We thought we were going to see a medal ceremony but were disappointed that we were mistaken about that, how wonderful that you got to experience it! I would have cried too!
