On wednesday it was a dash down the M4 to Bristol, and then the train to teh Millenium Stadium, Cardiff to see Team GB play Uruguay in the football. The Team GB football team is a one off creation for teh Olympic Games. The team is made up of players from England and Wales because the Scottish and Northern Irish Football Associations refused to allow their players to be selected. "Politics" and Sport should never mix.
We won the match 1-0 and we were very lucky to be so close to the action when Daniel Sturridge scored the goal.
Team GB also won a gold for queueing after the game when what must have been close to 10,000 people queued in an orderly fashion to get back into Cardiff Train Station! Us Brits have always loved a queue!!!
