Nottingham Playhouse ~ 1

Thank you all so much for the very kind messages of support for Ben and my family following my shots of the last two days.

For those interested here is a link to the news in our area earlier with Ben's story starting after about 14 mins and 18 seconds, which you should be able to fast forward to. The link will stop working at about 6-30pm UK time tomorrow. Click on the I symbol on the left hand part of the screen and drag the slider to the right to about 14:18, then you should see the relevant part.

Tonight I had a very enjoyable evening at a local theatre with my father in law John hearing an interview with one of my favourite authors, Jo Nesbo.
This one is my favorite….love how the dish both reflects and adds an abstract feel to the scene.

I enjoyed watching your link Sean.....nice to hear & see all the diagrams & the clever guy that performed the op....that is some beard he has!
What a very grown up & articulate boy is your Ben....a credit to you all. Good to see you in person too......hello!
Photo is good too of course!

We can't get the link in the US, unfortunately. But I do like this shot! Creatively done and a good outcome. I like the hint of the reflection too.

Terrific shot, Sean. Also, enjoyed the link...what an amazing story. Your son is so mature and really well looking, considering what he has been through. So glad that things have worked out and all is good for your lovely family.

The BBC blocked the link in the USA. I wonder why they would do that? Anyway, this my favorite image of the parabola. The reflection is startling.

Thanks for the posting the link, very interesting to see. Wow 30 people in a room, that certainly shows how pioneering and technical it was. And your son came across very well on the tv, very articulate!

Sadly I got here too late to watch your news clip.
Great photo, love the bold shapes and the contrasty tones.

Super shot!

Loving the deep tones and finishing to this version. There's something almost whimsical in the size of that thing and the inverted image within it.
