We were in London on Thursday. We enjoyed a wonderful lunch at Hawksmoor near Spitalfields Market, which was a 25th anniversary present for us from our amazing friends.
After lunch we had a wander around the market and bought a few lovely antiques, before heading off to our hotel and on to see Kristin Scott-Thomas in the title role of Electra at the Old Vic in the evening. If anyone is passing through London while this show is still on, I urge you to go and see it, it took my breath away.
We had a conversation with this chap while I was photographing a shopfront near the market. He told us it was his favourite shop in London, and very kindly allowed me to take his photograph. I regret not asking him a few questions, but this has spurred me n to do a 100 strangers project.
