Drying Off

This cormorant was drying off in Seattle's sunshine yesterday. This shot was taken on Elliott Bay in West Seattle. Have a wonderful day!
He looks happy and free. Wonderful capture.

..and do you know the ditty?

The common cormorant or shag
Lays its eggs inside a paper bag.
The reason you will see no doubt
Is to keep the lightning out.
But, what these birds have failed to realise
Is that hordes of wandering bears may come
And steal the bags to hold the crumbs!
