I quickly nipped to the supermarket to get cat food and filled up with fuel whilst there. I have no idea what possessed me but I filled the tank with unleaded instead of diesel and the car quickly broke down. It took a few hours of waiting (on the hottest day of the year) but the Fuel Doctor finally arrived and fixed the problem - very embarrassing and expensive but Tizer eventually got fed and is happier than me!
I have never heard of such a service before! How wonderful it is. Much better than trying to arrange a tow to a repair facility. Your photo tells the story and I’m sorry you had to experience such an ordeal but I’m glad it worked out well for you in the end.
Oh dear. If it makes you feel any better, my husband did that a couple of months back, and our car quickly broke down too! Not good, but it's running fine after its little issue! Hope yours is ok too. I never knew that there was such a thing as a fuel doctor though ... it just shows how many people do it. I was told that there were two types of person. Those who have done it, and those who haven't done it yet!!!
