In the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania there was an oil company called Quaker State. Two local businessmen played on the name and opened three restaurants under the banner of Quaker Steak and Lube! The restaurant is best known for their chicken wings.
@espyetta - You are absolutely right they were. In 1998 Quaker State merged with Pennzoil and then in 2002 Pennzoil/Quaker State was taken over by Royal Dutch/Shell. Thank you for your kind comment on my photo! I tried to make it look Rockwellesque.
@kynosmom - Thank you so much for you kind comments! In Sharon there are three separate restaurants that make up the QSL complex , Tully's, and 2 Quaker Steak & Lubes. Yes they still serve seafood.
@kwind - Thank you very much Kim! According to Wikipedia as of 2010 there are 42 restaurants That range from Canada, PA, Ohio, Virginia, Florida, Indiana, and Texas.
