Antique

Word of The Day. This is an R. Wallace silver spoon, that looks gold because of the incandescent light. When my wife's parents got married, it was a custom to buy the newlyweds a set of six tea spoons. The detail and craftsmanship is unbelievable. I liked the the gold tone so I left it like that.
Cool shot

Very pretty. Nothing like old silverware. I recently bought a huge set of brass tableware with rosewood handles from Thailand that was about 35 years old at an auction our church held. It was especially lovely because I had sold the owner's house. I got it for $40! The case was beat up, but the utensils were near perfect.

Love the texture and tones of the old silver. Modern stainless just doesn't make it compared to this.

Thank you so much for your very kind comments! I love this pattern. I wouldn't mind having a complete set, but I can't image the price.
