We had a yard sale on Friday and I was killing some time in between spurts of shoppers when I saw a tutorial about multiple exposures. I thought I'd use this as a part of it, but couldn't follow the directions very well on my phone and so I don't have a finished image. But I kind of liked how this turned out considering I didn't put a lot of thought into it.
@maggiemae - I got an email from a photography website I subscribe to and one of the articles was about in camera double exposures. I looked to see if my camera had that ability and found that it does. But reading the instructions on the screen of my phone made it hard to follow. The example they showed was of two images.
1) was a side silhouette of of a woman's torso
2) the branches of a tree
When combined you could see the woman's shape made up of the tree branches.
@maggiemae@skipt07 This is a great shot Skip. I really like it. I tried this 'in camera' recently but I have a Nikon and used something called image overlay. you just select two images from your memory card and it combines them I then downloaded this image and edited it. I'm sure must have something similar http://365project.org/thistle/365/2015-09-19
I did one once before but not in camera and it was much more complicated!!
@danette - There aren't very many colored leaves to see. You might see a tree here or there with a few colored leaves. There hasn't been cold temps to bring it on. This tree normally drops its leave early as does our crabapple trees.
