The word of the day for the 10th was present. We took our granddaughter to the Butler County Fairgrounds to see the first time showing of Shadrack's Christmas Wonderland at the fairgrounds. This is a great depiction of the greatest present to mankind!
This is the sixth location of Shadrack's Christmas light show. You set your car radio to 88.7 to hear the music that accompanies the lights. The light blink, flash and change colors to the music. One of the songs that has become popular in the past 3-4 years is the Trans-Siberian Orchestra's, "Wizards in Winter". Here is a link to give you an idea if you haven't seen one of these before. This is a Shadrack show with the Nutrocker. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=WdQC08T17js
@janetb - Funny that you should mention Oglebay. My wife and I went down last month. We talked about seeing the lights while there but rain moved in. I didn't want to try and drive those windy unfamiliar roads in the rain.
@skipt07 Yes, that would be a bit tricky in the rain. Hopefully, you'll be able to visit in better weather and enjoy the lights. They're always such a treat!
