Eventually these little buds will open creating flat topped purple flower clusters that really draw in the butterflies. I know I'll have some great opportunities for butterfly shots in the near future!
That's so funny...I saw that name for the first time today when I was trying to identify a purple flower. It wasn't Joe-Pye-Wee! lol
Great photo. I really like your b&w shots.
@stephw - Thank you Stephanie for your kind comments!! Welcome to the wonderful world of photography. You can learn a lot on this website through viewing the work of other photographers and just taking pictures yourself.
I'm really loving your black and white flowers, so much detail - I would never have considered B & W for flowers but the light and shade is just briliant. I think I shall have to experiment!
@judithdeacon - Thank you for your very kind compliments Judith!! I was the same way when I got interested in photography. I thought why would anybody take b/w pictures when there is color film? Then I saw my first Ansel Adams prints and thought, "Wow!"
Great photo. I really like your b&w shots.
