How beautiful. Went to Amish country in Ohio yesterday and loved it. Do you live near there in PA?

@alophoto I see the one photo you took has a Rt 62 sign. Route 62 does come into our county and runs up through northwest PA. into New York state. Not sure what part of Ohio you were in.

Are you in Amish country or is it just close to you? I wish I could experience that life for a season.

So beautiful! We had them for many years in our house in New Orleans. They are very particular about the light.

@alophoto - We live near New Wilmington, Pa which besides having a college is known for its Amish community or settlements as they call them. Our house was once a part of a 70+ acre farm. The people that have lived in the farm itself are Amish. The young man who lives there now with his family is the son of our former neighbors who moved to Chautauqua, NY. The picture I posted on March 12 of the Amish man plowing is my next door neighbor John M. Byler.
