Purple Finch

As cooler temperatures move in, the bird feeder has been as busy as most major airports. This Purple Finch is sitting on an adjacent shepherd's hook waiting for its turn to grab a sunflower seed.

@dyanstevens @thistle @shepherdmanswife - Thank you! The background is about 50 feet (15 meters) behind the shepherd's hook and I was 15 feet (4.5 meters) from the hook. Having the lens wide open and at that distance nicely blurred the background.
