I mentioned in my commentary for the "Bully of the Feeder", that I had placed a pine bough on the top of a shepherd's hook but the birds were being slow to land on it. Well, last night winter returned and dumped some snow. That was all I needed to happen to get the birds to get past their hesitancy.

@alophoto - I wasn't sure what your comments meant. I just picked up my phone and was checking my emails when I was a number of comments for this photo. Looking at it on the phone the color does look more russet. I don't know why because it looks very red on my monitor which I calibrate regularly with ColorMunki.
