The bitter winter continues so while at the grocery store I bought my wife a bouquet of these lavender daisies to brighten her day. She didn't mind me using them for my subject for the day.
Thank you so much for all your kind comments and faves for my, "Life" photo yesterday!
@calm - No ulterior motives. We had gone to another store earlier in the day and they had some lavender roses. I wanted to get them for her but, we had another stop before going home and the roses wouldn't have survived in the cold car. My wife was making dinner and saw that one of the main ingredients was out of date. So I took her into town to buy more. While she was getting that I visited the floral department and got these. You are right, those, "just because" flowers are more appreciated than the ones for birthdays or anniversaries.
@skipt07 I work for a florist... the 'just because' flowers are definitely the most romantic! Birthday and Valentine flowers are kind of obligatory, but the 'just because' ones tug at the heart!
No kinder gesture than a gift from the heart "just because"! And bouquets just beg to be photographed...get our money's worth out of them to have as stock photos so you can make her a card another time..."just because"!
