The weather turned warmer yesterday and I felt a little energetic. So I got out my tree saw and pruners and gave the pine tree a much needed pruning. Lots of dead branches on the north side of the tree. I cut all the branches off up to 6 feet off the ground to even things out. Now I will be able to cut close with my lawn mower rather than using my trimmer this summer.

Always good to get the trees cleaned up, and they'll look so much better come summer. We did the same with the citrus trees, and already they're filling out again with leaves. So much healthier looking!
