Remnants

I was in the dining room when I heard the sound of a bird hitting the window. When I looked out I saw a Chickadee lying in the stones. It was still alive. I went to get my camera and when I returned the Chickadee was gone. So I composed this with the dead oak leaves among the stones then did a painterly edit.
