sunflower by summerfield

sunflower

back to yellow for the month of yellow in support of Childhood Cancer Awareness month, which is being spearheaded by marta @whimsicalgrateful.

i have a bunch of beautiful sunflowers, eight of them, and i'm wasting my camera's shutter actuation by taking soooo many photos of them.

been busy today. i removed the disgusting caulking in my bathtub and i'm waiting for it to dry so i can re-caulk. that entire bathroon is new, four years old to be exact. but the man that the landlord hired did a terrible job. even with the cutting of the tiles, it was horribly done so i have to constantly spray the darn tiles so they won't have mildew. but the caulking was just plain horrible. i remember re-caulking the bathtub in my last flat. when i left to move here, the owner of the house renovated the flat but he told me i did a very good job with the bathtub they didn't touch the bathroom at all. so i want to see if i can do the same thing with this bathtub here.

thank you for your kind visits and comments; know that they are truly appreciated.
Love your composition on tis one. Perfect.

Nothing like a good caulker to have in the house! Lovely light on these petals - really like sun!

Right now I know what caulking is! I have always called it filler of one sort or another.

Pretty yellow! If you can convince your landlord to tile it again, Jeff and I will come for a visit and he can do your bathroom the right way! (o: He is after all a tile craftsman! This is very pretty!

@olivetreeann - aww, thanks, ann. but the tiles aren't so bad. but the caulking was so terrible that moisture would get in and discoloured into a disgusting blackish shit. he's been telling me he will re-do it, but of course he hasn't so i needed to take matters into my own hand. plus if he's planning to raise the rent on me, i can tell him what good i've been doing as well as the gardening on the side of the building which fronts my living room. of course, i chose the wrong time to do this because i'm also packing for my trip. or planning my packing! :-D

@summerfield That was sort of tongue in cheek- but not that bad of an idea! So which trip is this? To visit grands or to go to "the home country"?

What? You aren't done packing yet? :-P I am.
Oh, this is a fantastic image, I love the light, and the bokeh, and especially the black background. Aces Vikki, Aces.
