and it's only november and it's technically still autumn. it started mid-morning and didn't let up until just now. a heavy cloud covering still hangs over the city. pity the Christmas lights aren't up yet on those evergreens as it would've looked more festive rather than depressing; depressing in the sense that it is a real reminder that winter is upon us and we would have to endure it for the next four five months, along with the unwanted visitor that doesn't want to leave, mr. COVID-19.
i'm thinking tomorrow, i should brave the cold and find some photo opp with this snow thing maybe even just around the building grounds.
today i tried another painting project but it turned out to be an epic fail and i just had to trash it and start over. i'm looking through my photos to see if i can paint any one of my old photos instead of emulating someone else's. but i'm having fun slapping paints on canvas or simply mixing paints -- i feel like an artiste!
You definitely are an artiste! This photograph proves it. A spectacular composition with terrific capture of the lights reflecting off of the snow. I know you get tired of it but I am envious of your weather today.
What floor do you live on? I am pretty scared of height... but the view is nice. Better with snow than only dull barren ground and trees.

I was in a zoom meeting today with a friend in Toronto and he showed me this snowy scene! We had a dusting of snow about a month ago but nothing since then. Stay warm!
