It Can't be Avoided

I have to admit I do like all the Christmas displays in the shops and garden centres. I took this yesterday when we went to the garden centre for lunch.

It's coming towards the end of November and I am ready for the lights and sparkles brightening up the dull and dark November weather and ready to gradually prepare for Christmas ! Just bought my Christmas lighted twig tree !

Very cute . We don't see much of this here.There are more decorations In the shops than there were when we first arrived 15 years ago but you wouldn't really know that Christmas is coming.

I do love the build up to Christmas but not when it starts too early (like September!). I can't imagine Christmas in summer like it is you guys in Oz and NZ. It just doesn't seem right.
