Gift from Nicola and Millie

Millie went home yesterday after being with us for five weeks. She's a lovely dog and very easy so it seems very strange without her. I've got into a good pattern of walking every day so I'm determined to keep it up.
Nicola gave me these flowers (and some chocolates) to say thank you.

The background is actually the gravel on the ground outside the front of the house. As you'll have noticed ALL our windows have squares which is very annoying. For this photo I opened the front door, put a little table outside on the step and put the vase on the table. The gravel is actually a darker grey than it appears on this photo.
