We've been to this waterfall a couple of times before but never when there's been so much water. It was very impressive. We were there with Martha this week.
The height of this waterfall is 73 metres (240 ft). The height of Niagara Falls is 57 metres (188 ft) at its highest point.
@phil_sandford Thanks Phil. I have a similar silky water collage ready to post tomorrow. Martha and I had a great time practising the silky water thing while we were there and came away with literally hundreds of photos. You should go there if ever you're in the vicinity but do make sure you do the strenuous walk to the top of the waterfall, it's well worth the effort. You'd have a great time.
Wonderful Sue , Such a great waterfall -- I haven't been there for some years now and I do not fancy the narrow windy road to get there now ! and I wouldn't be able to walk any distance -- so it is better to have fond memories of the place . and view it through your photos !
@beryl Thank you Beryl. I'm very happy to take photos for you of places you can no longer get to yourself. If you have any special requests I'll see what I can do. At the moment, with my bionic hip I'm reasonably fit and active, although I can't keep up with Martha! Incidentally, I wouldn't like to drive on that windy road either. I wouldn't go there if Mr C wasn't driving.
@onewing Thank you Babs. Please don't feel you need to apologise for being absent from 365. It happens to us all from time to time. I often wish I could tell everyone to stop for a few days to give me chance to catch up.
