All of the rhododendrons survived the move and are now planted in the ground. We just hope they thrive here.

I have particular plants that I always take with me - one from my grandmothers garden, I've had it for about 35 years now. I drove past my last house today and noticed it flowering in the front yard and it brought such a smile!

The line separating the gravel path and the green makes this look like a diptych. Looks lovely. Hope the Rhododendrons will give you a lot of pleasure.

@rosiekind We’re not sure how they’ll cope with the very different soil here but when Chris planted them he used a lot of ericaceous compost to give them a good start. If they do well you’ll definitely see pictures.
