Welcome to the world little Hettie Marie. This was taken on the 2nd September when she was 4 hours old.
I'm sorry I've been absent for a while. Hettie is part of the reason why. After having Charlotte and Freya to stay with us, each for a week during the holidays, I then spent two weeks in Horsham looking after everyone, including dogs, guinea pigs and the cat. I got very behind with 365 and when that happens I have difficulty getting back into it. I have been taking photos so I will eventually catch up and fill in the gaps but my photos are not at all organised. I look forward to catching up with everyone else's photos. I've missed you all.
An adorable family photo of your lovely new granddaughter! How the two girls will love helping with their new sister, they look excited!
It’s so easy to get out of the routine of posting photos, if I have a break for a while I sometimes think shall I bother? It’s the people I miss so a long time ago I dropped down to just one photo a day...far less pressure!
@happypat Thank you Pat. Yes, the girls are very excited. Yes it is difficult to get back into 365 after a break. I do mostly post in one album, I just post in my second album when I have a bird or other wildlife photo which I’m particularly pleased with. I don’t put myself under pressure to post in both albums every day. Now I just have to catch up.
You have every good reason to going missing from here! And what a beautiful reason this is :) I have loved watching Charlotte and Freya grow up through your photos and now I have beautiful Hettie to watch! She is only a month younger than my last grandson Sullivan so it will be great to see them develop together (although across the ocean!) Congratulations to everyone - a wonderful happy time :)
How lovely for all the family. My son has only one daughter; my daughter has only one son. They are a joy when they are here. Beautiful mummy and children all happy and smiley. Congratulations.
Another Fav. Fabulous photos and another little one whom I bet will have a fabulous smile!please pass on congratulations from a little corner of Spain.
