Yesterday I went for a lovely 9 mile walk in the autumn sunshine with my friend Nicola. She lives within the boundary of Brecon Beacons National Park, at the western edge. We walked from her house and this beautiful woodland was the first bit of the walk. The river is the Tawe. We were feeling fresh and energetic at this point but 9 miles later we were far from fresh and energetic. We were very tired when we got back but it was a good, healthy kind of tiredness.
It's good we managed to do our walk this week because Nicola is now locked down for two weeks.
