Today it Rained!!

We had a bit of rain yesterday morning but today it absolutely hammered down. I tried to capture the rain bouncing off the path.

There was enough rain to make a difference in the garden but unfortunately the chaps putting up the summer house came back (the missing parts finally arrived) but were rained off. They're coming back tomorrow and the forecast is good. I will post a photo when it's finished.

You can see the raindrops bouncing off the path. I hate rain because it disturbs my programme for the day but in Summer, when I see all the plants suffering I start praying for some rain to freshen them up a bit.

I spoke to my sister on the phone tonight who lives in the UK and she said it rained where she is a few days ago, but still very dry again now.
