Up close and personal

Kitty hates close ups..... I have to sneak up on her to get them. This means that most of them end up with her looking shocked and surprised. Never a good look for a portrait.

I did OK with this one though..... She didn't see what I was doing until it was too late, so she just looks distracted. Not sure what her problem is though. I think she looks just fabulous for a 65 year old...... but I might be a bit biased.

65??? Can I have some of whatever she is on? I don't think she looks too shocked - just a bit pensive. It's a lovely portrait, great in b&w, and beautifully lit with the catchlight and the Rembrandt's triangle I learned about.
