The Man engine is a 30 metre tall transformer. He arrives on the back of low loader looking like 40 tons of scrap metal. However when he uncurls in a mass of billowing smoke and flashing lights, he is a truly awesome sight.
He is touring Cornwall at present to celebrate the tenth anniversary of the Cornish mining sites being awarded world heritage site status.
