When I mention Cornish Piskies, people often say "What are Cornish Piskies, don't you mean Cornish Pixies?" Well just for the record. We don't have Pixies in Cornwall, we have Piskies. Pixies come from Devon and are a sad pale imitation of the real thing..... a bit like their pasties and their cream teas really.
Oh, I know what Piskies are. If you're working down a mine, in particular, better give them the last bit of your pasty, if you know what's good for you. :-)
