Today I had my first photo walk with friend on Beaver Island (Vickey). She has access to shoulder height waders and water levels are quite high at the moment. So, we donned the waders and went walking IN the pond! It was our opportunity to hang out with many frogs, a snapping turtle, dragonfly (yes, singular), and an unfortunate number of midges.
Great start to the fun side of summer, and a good break from all the joys of opening the house and finding all the things that need repairing, replacing, cleaning up, etc
Well hello there! I remember friends of yours from last year, how nice to meet you. Taffy just made you famous, so be a good chap and eat some of those annoying midges for her, would you?
What a fun shot! We had a speaker at photo club last night that spends hours in the water photographing birds. I think you would have enjoyed some of his stories and his work. Ray Hennesey
