A Dream I Dare Not Dream

Yesterday I talked about my dream apartment. Today you get to see a place so great that i dare not even dream about it. At the end of that tiny stream shown yesterday, is a tiny little road that is not very long. What makes it special is that it has houses on it.

Because of how small the road is, it was hard to get a decent picture. Most of them are about three stories tall with a basement parking area for each one. They also have a bit of a design to them, which really makes them stand out.

But what really makes them stand out is that they are houses. Houses are quite rare in Taipei, even on the outskirts and suburbs. When most people say they have a "house" they really mean that they have an apartment building but they own all the floors.

Even on this street there aren't many houses, maybe less than fifteen. All of this causes the unfortunate problem of these house being very very expensive. How expensive?

Ten to sixteen million USD!
