MC Grammar

Without seeming too pompous, I am an excellent English teacher. One part that I'm quite proud of is my ability to quickly and clearly explain grammar to students. It might seem arrogant, but i'd be happy to battle anybody in Taiwan or even the whole world for the title of the best grammar teacher.

In Taiwan many teachers shy away from teaching low level students, as instead of actual instruction, they'd rather just chat with higher level students. But I take great joy in being able to explain some difficult grammar to students and have them finally get it.

Pictured above is what I feel is by far the best English grammar book in the world. It has good explanations and great practice exercises. When I teach grammar review classes or when students are struggling with a particular grammar, this is the book that I break out.

When at the book store a while back, I came across this Chinese version. I had never seen it before, as I always use the English only version. The English version is so well done and aimed at foreign learners, that I never even thought it needed a Chinese version. Regardless here one now is, and it's actually cheaper than the English only version. I have lots of theories regarding this, but I'll let you ruminate for yourself as to what you think the reason is.
